I was able to make a lot of progress with my original work this past week in ISM. I started by finalizing the outline for my research paper, which will be about private equity. Aside from the introduction and conclusion, I will have sections that discuss due diligence and valuation, financing and capital structure, post-merger integration, and exit strategies. I started searching for various academic sources that I could utilize in my paper. In addition to these sources, I used some of the information in the sources that I conducted assessments on in the past few weeks. So far, I have completed my introduction and the section pertaining to due diligence and valuation.
I will be traveling to India one week before break starts, so I will definitely need to be mindful and keep track of time, as we have less than two weeks to complete our original work. My work in other classes is also beginning to increase as we approach the end of the semester, so I will need to ensure that I am making proper use of my time
Looking forward, I am very excited to see how my original work develops over the next few weeks.
