This week in ISM has been pretty slow, as we have spent the majority of our time continuing to search for professionals to interview. I was able to get in contact with a managing director of investment banking, but I am still waiting for a response to my follow-up email.
Additionally, given that our original work will be due on December 15th, I should probably begin working on researching the different stages and processes within private equity. My goal with my original work is to create a research paper that can serve as a guide to explore the different processes and stages of private equity. I am hoping to gain more insight into my original work through the research interviews that I conduct.
My two main goals for next week are to prepare for and complete my research interview on Friday and prepare for my research speech. I will need to explore the experience of my interviewee in order to have a better idea of what questions to ask.
Although this week was somewhat slower than normal, the rest of this semester will start to pick up pace, and I will need to make sure to stay ahead of my work.
